Scanning and archiving:

It is within the range of our professional activities the scanning of slide (reversal) films and negative ones from the sizes of Leica to the sheet-films of 6”x8” in professional quality, as well as scanning of images on paper up to the size of A3.

The image information on the films (both slides and negatives) are digitized by the professional scanner Imacon Flextight 848. The technical parameters of the scanner designed and recommended particularly for purposes of photographic technology enable that the scanned file completely satisfies the quality requirements of a later enlargement or lighting down in regard to the resolution and intensity of color. Unfortunately, the files scanned by non-professional scanners and/or professional ones of lower quality are frequently inadequate to make paper pictures of greater size and high requirements.

We offer the possibility to order the so-called „3F”scanning (the extension of scanned files is fff), as well. You’ll get files containing completely raw information, having format similar to RAW, with color depth of 8/16 bits and having size of about 400 to 500 Mb in full resolution, containing all the information of the image seen by the CCD.

Having installed the software FlexColor issued by the company Imacon (being the own software of the scanner) on your own computer you can process the image on your home computer; you can perform all the modifications and adjustments of colors according to your own gusto and conception. To do this, you should make only a short registration on the official site from that you can download the program. ⇒

We scan paper pictures, negatives on glass sheet and pictures on other carriers by the flat-bed scanner Purup-Eskofot ScanMate F10 up to the original picture size A3 having great advantage among the flat-bed scanners that it uses the so-called XYZ technology promoting zooming the high resolution CCD (5400 dpi) onto the surface of the paper and it can be positioned owing to its adjustable focusing even behind the glass and we can scan a perfectly sharp image even from recessed surfaces.

Archiving:

We are pleased also to accept old materials for archiving together with digitization. The material to be archived can be on any type of carrier: it may be negative or slide, traditional paper picture, book or drawing incidentally other document, as well. Both the original and the archived version can be equally color or black and white.

The archiving means often also backup copy making.

You can choose the kind of the backup copy also within wide ranges: it may be a multitude of kinds from digital file to paper pictures or films, as well.
